Five Senses Monday

Happy Monday, friends. I can’t believe Monday is already here. Seems like the weekend just began. The slightly cooler days, friends’ smiles and yummy seasonal treats filled both Saturday and Sunday and made them zoom by. This is a bit of a tangent, but if I could have a super power, I thin I’d want to freeze time, like Evie on that 90s TV show, “Out of this World.” She could freeze time by putting her two fingers together, and it would give her time to think out a situation or get caught up on … whatever. I would freeze time to do art projects, read books, sit with friends and peacefully search through thrift stores.

Anyway, now it’s time for Five Senses Monday, where I reflect on the past few days through the five senses. Play along in the comments or on your own blog.

Smelling:
One word: Barbecue.

Tasting:
Blackberries off the vine and Grant’s homemade peach ice cream.

Seeing:
$1 shiny sparkles from the flea market.

Feeling:
So, so excited about a desert roadtrip later this week.

Hearing:
Peoples’ heartfelt response to my weekend story, “Jeff Kooyman: A Life Renewed.” And Jeff’s music that plays on this mini-doc to go with the story.
