Palm Springs: view from the blue water | on film

When in Palm Springs, do as the locals do. This means, get in the pool first thing in the morning, start the day with a mimosa or gin fiz (with ice cream!), always have something light and fresh and tasty to put in your mouth, and do as little work as actually possible.

Here are a few snapshots from my old film camera that pretty much capture a day we stayed home and vegged with our lovely, lovely hosts, M&S (but more about them later). I just love film. Can you feel it?

It’s Friday night, and I hope these pictures make you want to get outside and into some water. I’m off to a family birthday dinner that will, at some point tonight, involve me jumping into a cool pool. I hope you find a way to do the same. Happy weekend, friends.
