Saturday afternoon in the sun

The sun came out strong Saturday, giving Sacramento a reason to put on shorts and flip flops, sunglasses and hats and get outside. A few of us had plans to check out a mobile food fest, but with 10,000 attendees and 3-hour-long lines, we opted for lunch on the patio at Midtown’s Tres Hermanas. More friends showed up on their beach cruiser bikes for an afternoon that was purely lazy and filled with fun and games. Here are a few photos from lounging around midtown hangouts.

Looks like a lovely day to celebrate Cinco de Mayo.

  2. Ola!
Hey I forgot it’s Cinco de Mayo! I love this post. The cerveza looks amazing! Gracias for providing us with regular visual delights.

  3. I miss the darts and the shuffleboard. In Miami these family type places are all gone now. But Cinco de Mayo – hey this is Miami which is Havana North. Whole latta noise today.

  4. You make us look so stylish. We need to go back to the Tres Hermanas and enjoy a pitcher of sangria next time. And maybe I can actually finish half of that taco salad too πŸ™‚

  5. Hello, I like your photos soooo much! πŸ™‚

perfect summer photos, love it πŸ™‚

  7. I came here with my folks because they were having a craving and while I would prefer El Tiempo down the street a block they were dead set on eating here. ………..As my love affair with El Pueblito has waned over the past few years Ive started coming to Maria Selma more and more often.
