It’s turkey day! Yay! Though I have to work a few hours, I got to start the day off with some friends and old acquaintances at a turkey fry. There were turkeys and sausages and bloody marys and mimosas and lots of manly men taking care of the food. Maggie is writing about the event and Dan took some pics. I was a little sad I couldn’t spend Thanksgiving with the family, but this group was warm and funny and it definitely felt like Thanksgiving. Now I get to head off to several fun dinners and celebrate before my long vacation. Happy Thanksgiving!(oh, above, that’s a deep-fried prime rib. it was delic!)
