On assignment this week, Jen and I trekked to the James Bar Trail past Valley Springs. We were on the hunt for one thing: wildflowers. My editor wanted a wildflower cover, so we took the day to search for them. It was slightly unsuccessful because the flowers were being shy (not to mention it’s still a little early in the season), but we had fun taking pictures, as always. We actually went on a little hike, but found the most wildflowers right by the car. Jen didn’t waste any time before throwing down her sweatshirt and getting up close with the flowers — real close. Check out her pics here.
WELCOME!I’m Lauren — a gentle wanderlust who lives in a little valley nestled between Sacramento and San Francisco. I embrace life’s littlest and most poignant moments, and share them here.
