Some call it gross. Others call it art. I just call it cool. It is the gum wall in an alleyway in downtown San Luis Obispo. I always like to stop in and visit because it’s one of the first places I visited as a teenaged wanderlust with a brand spankin’ new film SLR camera. It’s been a long time, but it was gross as ever, though more “blackened” and a outstretched.
After Pismo Beach two weekends ago, Stacy and I ventured around Downtown SLO in the rain. We browsed and browsed and walked away with a few bags of T-shirts and salt water taffy.
Here’s a little lookie-poo into this quaint town I could easily call home.

Excellent shots of bubblegum alley!
You have a lot of great photos here. I got excited at the bubble gum alley photos, because I thought you might show my 10 pieces that are all in a big wad.
Great photos, but my first reaction was to wonder just how many germs are on the walls?
