Today is a good day. I took time to go for a run. I drank coffee and visited with my aunt before sunrise. I got to the hospital just in time for the doctors to make their stop in my dad’s room during rounds.
They gave us lots of information about the long road ahead. It won’t be easy, but we’re thankful there is time to go down that long road.
Because, this morning, they told us there is no sign of cancer like they thought! The best news possible. The news we’ve been waiting for all week. Now the goal is to go home and figure out the new normal.
Thank you for your love and kind words recently, for the texts and emails and words of advice. It means a lot. I’ll be back soon, hopefully with some photos of recently, things like home winemaking and pretty mornings.
