Another day at Dillon Beach

I just realized I was at Dillon Beach, but I don’t have any pictures of waves, water, the beach or even sand. Maybe I’ll work on that this coming weekend, though I really enjoy the 100-something photos of crab I took, and I hope you do too because it’s likely you’ll see more of them. However, I’m at odds because I don’t eat crab and the whole idea of having to boil the poor things alive makes me quite sad. Oh, speaking of sad animals, I don’t think I mentioned that my dog got skunked. We had to figure out a scientific bath made up of peroxide, baking soda and dish soap to get her clean (no way was I going to let her stink of my new car for life!). We were going to use tomato juice, but read this experiment works better. It was awful — the whole experience, and I’m not even the one who had to take a freezing cold shower and be covered in foaming peroxide. Anyway, she’s really soft and now has slightly dyed hair to show off to those hottie skunks next weekend.

So I hope you enjoy these snapshots of things that caught my eye over the weekend. And don’t forget to say hello.

Stunning pictures. Can you mention which camera you are using?

Thanks and keep up the great work!

Thanks for your comment! I only use a Canon 10D, quite an older SLR model that I found on eBay. Most of my photos are taken with either a 50mm 1.8 and Tamron 24-70 lens. Hope that helps!

Thanks for the recommend. I need to update my (basic) camera – especially now we have a 5 day old baby! Every moment is a picture opp!
